Topshop Makeup ( I have linked where I can but not all are available online, your best bet is to go instore!)
As I have posted about previously, you all know I am a big fan of Topshop make-up and their lipsticks would have to be my favourite! As you can see I'm building up quite a collection for myself, but what can I say - they're amazing. They have a great colour range and the quality is lovely. They have different finishes including velvet and satin matte, which gives you a greater choice as to what finish works best for you. At first I wasn't particularly a fan of the velvet finish, but it has definitely grown on me as I have found a much better way to apply it than I was at the beginning.
This is quite a bright pink shade, although you can apply it lightly so it doesn't come out as intense as it could. It is not the usual shade I would pick as I am a red lipped girl at heart but I love having this in my collection so when I do fancy a bright pink lipped day, I can use this.
Rio Rio is a bright red shade. I bought it after loving Mischief, I loved everything about it but the formulation. It was a velvet finish, which wasn't quite for me. I went searching for another Topshop red in more of a matte finish which was how I came across Rio Rio. I fell in love as soon as I saw it and knew it would be my go to bright red from then on in (as sadly I had lost my favourite discontinued Eyeko red!)
Beguilded is a dark purple toned red. This was the shade that made me fall in love with dark lipstick! I was never brave enough to actually go out wearing it, but one day, I really don't know what changed but I just loved it and literally haven't looked back since. Virtually haven't worn any lipsticks that aren't dark since!
This is a bright red with a velvet finish. I love the shade, and it works great with my skin tone but I much prefer the finish of Rio Rio as I prefer more of a matte finish but if your a velvet, moisturising lipstick lover then this would be a great red for you!
Infrared is a great orange lipstick. Again it is a velvet finish and would be great if orange suits your skin tone. Unfortunately after purchasing this lipstick I have realised that orange just isn't for me!
All About Me
This is a bright pink shade with a satin matte finish. I actually got this polish through a Topshop order where you received it when you spent over a certain amount. Although I received it this way, I probably would have bought it anyway. It's a great fuchsia pink shade, I just wish I wore it more!
Wicked was part of a limited edition collection and is a dark purple red shade. I'd have to say that actually this is my favourite shade from my collection and is definitely my most used lipstick of the moment! The quality of the lipstick is great and lasts long enough for me on a night out. Unfortunately, I don't think this is available in most stores now but if you do happen to see it in your local store then I don't think I could recommend this any more! I also love the sleek black packaging. I do like the usual Topshop packaging but it just gets so dirty so easily but this one just doesn't do it. I much prefer it.
This is a very bright blue toned pink shade and is part of the limited edition Louise Gray for Topshop collection. I had wanted this for a while but just couldn't justify the price and when I saw it in the sale for a few pounds I picked it up straight away and oh am I glad I did. It's not really the shade I would usually wear but I have and I loved it. I think it's made me want to branch out from my usual dark red lip! Again I'm not sure whether you can pick this up any more, but if you do see this in your local store in the sale, I'd also recommend getting it. I also love the packaging, it stands out and also doesn't get as dirty like the usual Topshop packaging does.
I have included some images of the colour swatches of the lipsticks but really I don't think it justifies how great the colour shades are. Some of them are a lot more intense colour wise than is being shown here so if you want to see them in a much better light I'd just suggest going in store and swatching them for yourself and that way you can see the quality and finish for yourself as well!
I'm feeling the need to purchase another lipstick or two from their collection as I have been eyeing up some of the new shades on the website, going instore will be the death of me - I think I have a problem and I'm guessing most of you know what I'm going on about!
Have you tried Topshop's 'Lips' Lipsticks before? What's your favourite shades?
