I'm usually an all black kind of shoe girl, but there's just something about the Vans x Eley Kishimoto range that has got me hook, line and sinker. I've been really getting into trainers lately, in fact it's becoming a bit of a thing and this has only egged me on into wanting more... and more... and more. I like shopping, okay?
The Vans x Eley Kishimoto range is filled with some of the most incredible designs. I actually went along to the launch party in the House of Vans with ASOS as you can see in the weekly vlog above - it was super fun, great to see the collection and the space is incredible and so it was a great night out. I need to go to the House of Vans again - love love love it.
I got my hands on a couple of pairs of shoes from the range, you can see the first pair featured in the video. It's theVans x Eley Kishimoto Authentic Canvas Plimsoles* in a blue and slightly nautical print. Super cool, and so so comfy. My favourite from the range though are the ones pictured above and are the Vans x Eley Kishimoto Authentic Canvas Slip-On's * in this incredible print. I've fallen in love and love wearing these with a super simple outfit so all the focus lays on the shoes.
An incredible collection and I am already eyeing up a few of the other pieces. I need to get my hands on the Vans x Eley Kishimoto Flash shirt from the range, I just need to find somewhere that stocks it...
Life has been a little bit crazy of late and I touched on that in my Operation Be The Best Me post. I only went and graduated from the University of Westminster with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Photographic Arts and I can't quite believe it. This post is a little delayed (I actually graduated back in July) but I've been really busy with work and moving house and I kind of wanted to let it all settle in a bit and think about how massive of a change this actually is. University has been the entirety for the past three years of my life and it's really the only way I've ever known London. So to put it lightly, this is a pretty pivotal point in my life right now and graduating was a pretty big deal.
I struggled with University, I can't say I had the best experience, but I always like to think that I wouldn't change a thing. I'll probably write a 'My University Experience' post or film a video at some point, but I think I need it to be a little further into my past before I go for that. I'm so happy that I managed to pull on through and actually get a blooming degree and all of that accumulated into one day and honestly, it was really overwhelming. I didn't know what to expect, but it was a massive day and I'm sure I'll remember that forever. If you want to see a little snippet into what I got up to then check out my weekly vlog as I filmed a little bit.
Deciding what to wear was probably one of the most stressful experiences. The amount of ASOS, Topshop and Misguided orders I made before I found the right one was on a whole other level. I had already decided on the shoes I wanted to wear as I had fallen in love with the Clarks x Orla Kiely Blanche Sandals* and so I just had to wear them, as they are such a special occasions shoe. A little more patterned than I usually go for and so I had to find the right dress to go with it. I actually ended up going with the Frock and Frill ASOS Cap Sleeve Embellished Playsuit as it went perfectly. I fell in love with the vintage vibes and it felt that bit more special than anything else I'd tried on - I knew it was meant to be and I'm still so in love with the whole outfit now.
To celebrate though, we wanted to go to somewhere special and it was an experience that I just had to tell you about. We went to Babylon at the Kensington Rooftop Gardens and it honestly was just incredible, so beautiful and just the perfect way to celebrate the day. If you normally read my blog, then you'll know by now how much of a foodie I am and so celebrating with great food and cocktails was just perfect for me. The restaurant is the floor above the gardens and we sat out on the terrace for a few drinks before heading inside for our meal. We could see the Flamingos and I feel like I was too excited about that!
Onto the food though, and for starters I'd recommend the Scallops, they were just incredible. Cooked beautifully and the flavour was insane. I've fallen in love with Scallops lately and these didn't disappoint. The dish almost looked to beautiful to eat... but of course, I did. For the meat eaters amongst you, I'd recommend the Ham and Egg dish. An even more beautiful dish, and I was told it was super tasty.
For main I had the Cornish Crab Pasta with tomato foam and honestly this was incredible. Super filling, super rich but oh so tasty. The Saffron and Red Pepper risotto (pictured above) along with the Lamb came highly recommended.
The meal was super filling and so tasty and a beautiful experience with a gorgeous view. I couldn't recommend the restaurant more! It's a total special occasion place and I'm sure it's made even more exciting if the gardens are open - not to worry though, you still get a great view of them!
It was all so incredible and so overwhelming and I'm so happy I could celebrate it with my loved ones.
It's been a while since I filmed a favourites video, pffft, I know I'm a bad YouTuber. Sorry! But I was busy and I didn't really feel that there was anything really worth mentioning, but this month, boy there's some goodn's. We're talking beauty and makeup favourites, a bit of foodie bits and a few extras thrown in for good measure!
Carrying on from a series I did a little while over here, I thought I'd take it a bit further and carry it on over on my YouTube channel. Whether we're uber lazy all the time, or every now and again, we all need a few short cuts or beauty hacks here and there so I hope there will be something in this series to suit everyone. This time we're talking skincare but do let me know what other lazy girls guide's you'd like to see as well!
So we've seen all of my 2014 Favourites posts... now's time for the ultimate ones. My top picks form those beauty picks! We're talking makeup, skincare, haircare, body care... yep, that's right. I'm talking it all!
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Today I'm talking everything I've been loving throughout the month of December and as usual its filled with the best beauty bits I've fallen in love with alongside a few fashion, music and people favourites thrown into the mix.
With Christmas just around the corner, I'm already thinking about the next holiday and the next chance I'll have to dress up all fancy. I'm not one for dressing up on Christmas Day so New Year's Eve is my chance to crack out the glitter and slap on a bold red lip and not feel like I've gone too far... I mean there is a limit, but when glitters involved, I'm going to have to deny it.
What are your plans for NYE and what will you be wearing?
I love makeup, in fact I love all things beauty and as you can tell from the quantity of the products I post on here I have quite the collection... So I thought it was about time we got down and dirty and I showed you the products that I am actually using all time and what better than in the form of a 'What's In My Makeup Bag?' video.
I love all of the products I mention here and I honestly can't see them leaving my makeup bag any time soon.
What are your favourite products in your makeup bag?
Happy 1st of December! Pinch, punch 1st of the month and all that business...
It was Sunday yesterday and that means a new video! And of course, I just had to let you all know what I've been loving the past month. I'm a little obsessed with a few of the items in this video, ya know. I might get a little bit TOO excited. A little bit of beauty as per, and a few musical and place favourites too!
Well, I just HAD to see what all the fuss was about what with all of these Primark Hauls flitting about all over YouTube and the blogosphere, didn't I? I did a little bit of shopping and boy am I happy with what I picked up. There's only one word to describe it... Bargain! To say the least I was a little shocked about some of the prices.
What were your favourite bits? What have you been picking up lately?

It's getting a lot colder and for some reason, this year, I just felt a little unprepared. I think perhaps I got so used to the warmer weather, I just wasn't ready for it. I still find myself thinking it's okay to go without tights when wearing a skirt... But let's be honest, it's bloody cold and that just isn't okay.
I'm so excited to share this video with you all. I've been planning it for a little while and it's a little different to my past ones so I do really hope you like it. I put together all of the bits and pieces I love about the Autumn and Winter and what the essentials are to help get you through the seasons changing and quite obviously, the weather getting colder. I'm talking hot chocolates, wooly knit jumpers, vampy lipsticks and so many more...
Last but not least I'm going to give a mention to the AMAZING artist and song I featured in the video. It's Deep by JONES. and you all just need to go and check her out. The song's amazing right?!
I really hope you like the video, I really enjoyed making it...
I'm a skincare obsessive, but we all know that by now. I thought it was about time I gave you a bit more of an insight of my skincare routine and what I do in the evening to give myself a little bit of a pamper... If you can't pamper yourself with skincare, then what can you?
I decided to film a tag video and ended up with the 'a few of my favourite things tag' started by the lovely Victoria from IN THE FROW. Go on, give it a go, I tag you too...
It's that day of the week where I upload a video and this time I'm talking about how I get my everyday waves! I use my GHD hair straighteners to curl my hair, awkwardly, but you know, I get there in the end...
Please let me know what other videos you'd like to see! Would love to know what your favourites are to watch!
It's that time of the month (not THAT time of the month...) where I let you in on what I've been loving. There's a little bit of beauty, a pair of TO DIE FOR shoes and an album you just need to get your hands on.
I know, I know. It's really not okay, but I've been shopping again and it's just something I obviously couldn't help (justification, justification, justification). It was one of those situations where I just fell in love with everything and I was shopping on my own, so didn't have anyone to tell me no (obviously why I went shopping on my own) but the best thing? Not only have I got a few awesome new pieces to add to my wardrobe, I've got another haul video for you all to see! Obviously, I went shopping for everyone who watches it, right?
Anyway, lets get down to the nitty gritty and these are the bits I picked up...
I'm back on the YouTube bandwagon and guess what? Surprise, surprise, I've been shopping... I've been picking up mixture of fashion and beauty bits and have put it all together in this Haul!
So I thought it was about time I filmed another video, and actually I filmed it quite a while ago but I had such a problem with the lighting it took me super long to sort (and then unsort...) so I'm really sorry it's not perfect but I have bought some lights so the rest should be much better!
I'm talking my current makeup favourites... I've found the perfect foundation, I'm discussing some of my favourite eyeshadows and nail polishes plus many more... Go on, give it a watch, you know you want to!
Let me know what you think down below or in the comments on the video! Would love to hear your thoughts.
