There's a new polish brand in town, and I think you'll all be happy to know it's a goodn'. The Lacquer Lab is a '4-free' polish, with no toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde or Camphor - or no nasties to those of us that don't quite understand that 'science' talk. The brand was founded by the lovely Emily, of whom I actually met while at the WAH Nails Power Lunch watching the lovely Gemma from BeautySpotter talk. I got chatting with Emily and was super excited to hear about these amazing polishes. She offered to send me a couple to give a go, and I'm very happy I've had the chance to try them.
First things first, the colour range is lovely. There are constant new releases, but the polishes that I tried out were Cancun Hot* and Ultra Violet* - both beautiful shades as you can see from the bottles and swatches, and colours I would (and have) actually worn. Super wearable shades and they have a wide brush which makes application very easy! Perfect for a lazy nail polish lover like me. It also wears well with a good base and top coat. I am so in love with these polishes, the packaging has got me hook line and sinker. Now, next on my list? Blue Jean Baby, Diamontes and Disco, Midnite Dynamite and Donatella, I've got my eyes on you...
