Introducing City Swish

Manicure, Salon, Mani, Pamper

I am such a putter-offer, if that makes sense at all. I hate going to the doctors and so I put off that. I like going to get my hair done, but I put off that too. It's the same with everything. And I just cannot stop. Procrastination apparently is my best friend.

Anything that can make these things I blooming love procrastinating for, that little bit easier and that bit more convenient is always greatly welcomed - which is why I think I fell in love with City Swish*, the beauty salon service that comes to you (if you live in London in zones 1-3), the first time I gave it a go.

It does pretty much what it says on the tin, you pick your service (think manicures, pedicures and massages) and the City Swish therapists come to your door for the treatment that you've booked. I went for a gel manicure to prep me for Glastonbury (best decision I ever made, hence the raving about it in a recent vlog) and a pedicure. The Gel mani was insane. Beautifully done with a great choice of shades (something I wasn't sure about with it coming to you) though the pedicure was less to write home about. Not quite the pedicure you'd get in a salon, with only a quick file and paint but it did the job so no complaints really.

I'd definitely use the service again, and would completely recommend it for it's convenience. Also, you don't have to worry about being too relaxed post massage or smudging your newly painted mani getting home as your already home. Total bonus and I may be a little bit in love with the concept (as you can probably tell).

  1. I totally know what you mean, I wish everything could come to me. I really need to go for an eye test but I keep putting it off. Lovely nail polish colour. =^-^=

  2. I'm the worlds biggest procrastinator too - as I write this I should be doing an essay haha! But this service seems really cool, shame I don't live in London!
