Give Your Hair More Oomph

Volume Hair

Flat hair be gone! This is one of the biggest issues I have with my hair. I'm always wanting to get more volume and am forever looking at pictures of gorgeous ladies with voluminous hair and wondering how the hell I could get that, and more, get it to last! But I've tried my fair share of products and these are the ones I've found that get me on my way to having hair with all the oomph!

First up, it's so much easier to get volume to hold if you've got unwashed hair and that means that dry shampoo will be your best friend. The best I've tried, much like I mentioned in my festival beauty essentials post before I went to Glastonbury, is the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Dry Shampoo. It's incredible, and I won't go into too much detail but you need not worry about it leaving your hair white or weighing it down. It refreshes and volumizes and gives the perfect base to add more volume. You can use this to add a bit of grit to freshly washed hair too!

To finish off the look after styling, the Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce Dry Texturising Spray is an absolute favourite of mine. I picked it up after hearing Amelia Liana mention that it's a dupe for the infamous Oribe Texturising Spray and have been in love ever since. You just spritz it into your hair and it adds texture and volume, super easy to use and a great finish.

If your looking for volume specifically in the roots then the Schwarzkopf got2b powder'ful volumizing styling powder* is exactly what you mean. This is a quick fix and perfect for a night out. It weighs your hair down and feels pretty grim, but that doesn't matter because it makes your hair look incredible.

To finish off the look and my new favourite product is the Schwarzkopf got2b Rise n' Shine Volume and Shine SoufflĂ©* is fantastic. It's exactly what it says, a soufflĂ© that you just apply to the hair and I honestly can't even describe what an amazing effect that a little bit of this product can have. I find that it looks and feels incredible in the hair and I can't recommend it enough. I always get questions about my hair when I use it and always put it down to this. I can't get over the price and it's only £2.70 at Superdrug at the minute!

These are my go-to products to get volume into my hair and I can't recommend them enough. Finish it off with a spritz of hairspray and your good to go.

What are your go-to products for voluminous hair?
