The Game Changer: Inika Mineral Blusher

I go through phases of loving and hating adding a bit of colour on my cheeks, I think it's because I get fed up with the shades I'm using. I'm a serial blush user, I'll find one I love and I'll keep on using it until I'm fed up and I think it's blush I'm fed up with when in actual fact it's probably the shade or the formulation. I've always been a cream blush kinda gal, so when this came into my life I was pretty sceptical which was why it stayed in my stash for quite a while when for some reason, one day I decided it was the day to try it and I fell in love. Perhaps it's my love for orange toned eyeshadows at the minute that helped along with my love of the Inika Mineral Blush in Blooming Nude* but there was something about it that just worked you know. If you've spied my recent influx of selfie's over on my instagram page then I'll let you in on something, I'm wearing this blush in every single one of them. It's that bloody good that I don't even care about my usual issue of over wearing because you know, some products are just worth the pain. Applied with the matching Inika Vegan Blush Brush* with a swipe of The Body Shop's Shimmer Waves in 02 over the top. It just looks so blooming good. If you're stuck in a bit of a Blusher rut then I'd totally recommend this one to get you out of it. I've got the rest of the shades on my wish list because I need these gorgeously pigmented and easy to blend blusher's in my life. All of them please. The absolute blush dream, trust me.

What's your favourite Blusher?

A Mini Beauty Haul

Being a beauty blogger we all know how obsessed I am with beauty, but through writing about it I am so privileged to be sent a lot of products which often stops me buying a lot myself, as my budget has changed since being at uni, and I often have to think whether I buy that new YSL lippy or pay my rent. That real life shiz you know. So it rarely comes that I'll pop into Boots and actually pick up a few bits and not just browse.

I recently finished my dissertation and after spending all day every day in the library and spending money solely on croissants and peppermint tea to fuel me through the day, I thought it was about time I was a little bit spendy and picked up a few bits to treat myself. Now I thought about going overboard, and trust me, I can't even believe I restrained myself enough not to, but these were the few bits that made the cut and honestly, I'm very happy with them.

First up, I popped into Liberty and I've been a fan of the Aesop Parsley Seed range, namely their Parsley Seed Mask, for a long time now. I used to do that thing where I'd pop in, have a chat with the sales assistant and ask for a sample of it and that was where the obsession began. It works, Aesop are the brand I've found to be the most generous with samples, none of that snooty business you get from other brands, they just fully understand that you'd want to try before you buy. After picking up quite a few every time I was around a counter the novelty kind of wore off and I ended up either not being around a counter or honestly, just not being bothered to go through the spiel from the brand when I already know that I bloody love the product. I went without it for a while and I can't tell you how much my skin missed it and I couldn't find anything cheaper that would come close, so I kind of just thought stuff it and I bit the bullet and picked up the full size and I'm so happy that I did. This mask is amazing. Life changing in fact. Perfect for a pamper sesh.

As if that wasn't enough, I was feeling some Boots haulin'. I wanted to pick up a lot but there wasn't really anything that stood out to me really. I wanted to pick out something for my brows to try and steer myself away from my love of the HD Brows Kit and so I just had to pick up the Soap and Glory Archery Brow Stick in Chocolate and I'll vouch for what people say, it's better than you can imagine. Onto the last product, something that has been on my wish list for the entire time I've been blogging and I really don't know why I waited this long to pick it up. There's just something super satisfying about a palette. Hence my love for the UD Naked Palettes, I wanted to get a few more bargainous palettes in my collection and a few other shades that I wouldn't usually use. I picked up the Sleek Storm palette that everyone and their dog has but you know, I just needed it too right? I had my eye on the deep green in this palette and although I haven't tried it out yet, I still cannot wait to sweep this shadow on my lids.

I picked these up a while ago and I can't help but feel that it's time to get haulin' again. What beauty bits have you been picking up lately?

Sponsored Video: YSL Luxurious Mascara

Cara Delevingne is totes the model of the moment and I'd give anything to trade places with her, she's such a beauty! So if there's something that'll help me get a little closer to achieving the signature 'Cara' look, then I'm all in. YSL have teamed up with Cara again to promote the latest offering from their beauty range and it’s another makeup addition I just need in my life.

The YSL Luxurious Mascara gives you that false lash effect, without the need for the faff of wearing false lashes. I’ve got quite a few of them in my stash but there’s just something I find a little odd about wearing them. Perhaps I haven’t quite found the right pair yet, but with mascara’s like this I find I don’t need to. The formula works similarly to the other mascaras in YSL’s range with the usual triple film complex staying the same. I’ve heard a lot about this complex working really well and that just boosts this product higher and higher up my wish list. Alongside that mascara works to intensify the eye look by putting all the attention to bold and long lashes but makes sure that it stays put. None of that mascara flaking off during the day, it actually lasts.

It takes a lot for me to want to defer from my usual mascara choices, I mean once I’ve found one I will stick to it for a long time but there’s just something about Cara’s gorgeous lashes and what the YSL says the mascara does that just makes me need it in my life and like the name says any product from YSL is luxurious and that makes me want their entire range anyway and the definite reason I picked up their Rouge Volupte lipstick and Touche Eclat all that time ago, and I still love them today. YSL are the kind of products you want to take out with you and show off while you’re topping up your makeup in the bathroom. Great products and the most beautiful packaging I’ve ever seen. The YSL Luxurious mascara is at the top of my wish list and I just need it in my life...

Eating in London: Pancake Day at The Diner

I know, two post's in a day? Unusual but let's just say I'm spoiling you. I didn't want to deprive you of those beautiful Bourjois Eye Shadow Crayons and well, let's just say this post NEEDED to go up as soon as possible, because there's a bit of a ticking clock on it.

I'm not usually one for pancakes but as soon as I saw the specials for Pancake Day one of my favourite restaurants ever had on offer, well I just couldn't refuse and the fact that you could only get it for a few days only made me want it more.

The first straw was the gorgeous image of the red velvet pancakes they were going to serve. And that was the point I just had to go, they looked amazing and I needed them in my life. I don't know why but I just did. Then entered the rest of the images of the other pancake offerings they had and the Reece's Pieces Pancakes with Chocolate Sauce, Peanut Butter Chips and Peanut Butter Ice Cream was well, just needed. I'm a nut butter fiend, well anything nutty, and so I had to get this right? Stuff the healthy eating plan when there's a chance to get these in your belly...

Again, much like not being a massive pancake fan, I usually have to be in the mood for them which is pretty rare, I'm also not that much a fan of sweet food but by god, these were amazing. Normal American style pancakes with the peanut flavours coming from the chips and ice cream, chocolate sauce and dusted with icing sugar. Can you tell I loved them yet?

The only thing I found a little disappointing was that it wasn't exactly like the dreamy pancakes shown in the image advertising them, although I honestly can't say I mind as these were delicious none the less! Can I go back to yesterday and eat them all over again please?

Luckily, it wasn't just a special for pancake day and you can get your hands on all of the pancakes specials until Sunday the 22nd! Trust me, you just need to get down there and try these babies while you can. Make a trip of it and pick up a burger and some fries too (The hanger fries or the garlic butter fries are my total favourites and the chilli cheese fries come highly recommended from all of my meat eater friends). The Diner is a total favourite of mine and I'm forever going to the one just off Carnaby St. Completely recommend!

Have you been to the Diner before? What did you do for Pancake Day?

Quick and Easy Eyes: Bourjois Colourband Eyeshadow Crayons

I've got a few eye shadow sticks in my collection, but for some reason I never reach for them. I'm all about the Urban Decay Naked Palettes or a few of my NARS shadows but the rest rarely gets a look in. Enter the Bourjois Colourband Eyeshadow Sticks* and everything changed.

I'm all for ease. If anything will make my life easier then I'll be all over that and I'd like to say that's fairly visible with my 'The Lazy Girls Guide' series. Beauty Hacks, oh yeah. The shadow crayons are a one swipe wonder with their pigmentation. It's honestly beautiful, but there's one that just made me fall in love with the collection and I've basically used everyday since.

The collection features a range of shades: 01 Noir Abstract; the blackest black you will ever see, 02 Brun Dadaiste; a deep brown great for smoking up an eye look, 03 Beige Minimalist; an inner corner highlight that works with ANY eye look, 04 Rose Fauviste; a rose gold that dreams are made of (and my absolute favourite of the collection), 05 Mauve Baroque; a gorgeous mauve and probably one of the more interesting shades of the collection and 06 Gris Graffiti; another favourite to smoke up an eye look, perfect for in the crease and outer corner.

These can be used as an eyeshadow or an eyeliner, they last forever and they can be smudged before they set. They last so long that actually I love using them as a base for powder shadows. As you can tell Rose Fauviste is my absolute favourite. Not really a rose gold kinda gal, but there's just something about this shadow when it's applied to my lids. It changes everything. I have a combo that's heavenly with this shadow, but I'll save that for a separate post, because trust me, it deserves it. You can use them on their own if your really short of time, apply to the lid like you would a crayon and blend and then you're good to go, it literally takes seconds.

I'm in love with these babies and they're a regular feature (daily, definitely daily) in my makeup bag and I really can't see them disappearing any time soon. The shades are so versatile there's always something you can go back to using. Easy to apply, amazing pigmentation and long lasting colour, what more could you want? Can you tell I love them yet?

Have you tried these? What are your favourite Eye Shadow Crayons? Would love to try more!

Contouring For Pale Skin: The Game Changer

Any pale gal out there will know how daunting it can be with the idea of any bronzer/contour product going near that pale skin of yours. Every bronzer I've tried just does nothing for my skin, it's always too orange toned and looks terrible against my complexion, but then one day the wonderful brand of Rodial came into my life and everything changed.

I had always seen pale girls sporting a contour, but all the products I'd tried in the past had just put me off as they hadn't work so it got to the point where I just didn't really feel like spending any more in hope of getting that contour in my life. Enter the Rodial Instaglam Compact Deluxe Contouring Powder* and everything changed. I first gave this a go at their Sculpting Bar in Harvey Nichols and have been in love ever since. They showed me how to contour, although it's pretty simple, just brush some of the powder underneath your cheekbones with a little help from the Rodial Sculpting Brush*, the softest brush and totally fit for purpose. The powder blends into the skin flawlessly giving the effect that you're after. It's that simple and I'm so happy it's super easy to use. Add a little bit to the brush each time, you can build up the colour and blend. You can contour the sides of your nose, and under your chin also to add definition. Though, if this contour isn't enough and you're feeling fancy then I'd completely recommend using the Rodial Instaglam Compact Deluxe Bronzing Powder* and although the orange toned bronzer in the images looks completely daunting, it really isn't. I don't know why it came out so orange, no colour balance changes could change this, but trust me this doesn't show it's true shade - sorry! Add a little of this over your contour to add more of a bronzed glow with a fluffy brush and you'll look as though you've just stepped off the plane from a luxe and hot holiday - the dream!

These products aren't the cheapest, but trust me they're well worth it. I'm obsessed and they're worth every penny. The luxe packaging and the amazing products are well, amazing, and trust me I'm not just saying that. I rarely talk about any sort of bronzer/adding any sort of colour to my face as I just haven't really found anything worth mentioning until now. I've always wanted that perfectly sculpted look on pale skin but I just couldn't find anything that wouldn't leave me looking like an orange so I just steered clear from it completely. I honestly can't remember using any sort of bronzer/contour and not hating it before these products came into my life. If you can't afford to buy all three, I can't recommend picking up the contour powder as it's just the perfect shade for us pale skinned gals, a much more cooler tone than the warm oranges I'm used to.

Okay, I'll stop babbling, but just trust me, I blooming love these products. Total game changers as the title suggests.

What do you use to contour?

Last Minute Valentine's Day Gift Guide

Valentine's Day. I'm going to be a bit of a joy kill and say I'm not particularly a fan. It feels a bit unnecessary but there's no escaping it, so like with this kind of thing, if I don't like it then I'll put it off and off which is why I'm writing this last minute gift guide for all of you out there. It's slightly generic, but that's Valentine's Day for you. I'm talking the kind of gifts you can ask for, or for you men out there, this is something I'm sure your ladies would love.

First up, I'm talking a few perfumes and fragrance is always a safe bet when buying for women. I don't know anyone that wouldn't be happy with one. I mean, even my mum who isn't the biggest beauty fan likes them so I feel like that says something. If you've been reading my blog for a while now you'll probably know that Marc Jacobs Daisy is my favourite and has been for years. I've used it for as long as I can remember and I can't see it leaving my collection any time soon (I will always repurchase this) so I just had to mention it. If you've already got Daisy though, I'd completely recommend Paco Rabanne Lady Million* and Victor and Rolf Flowerbomb. Beautiful beautiful fragrances and right up the Daisy street. Other fragrance recommendations include 007 For Women* and Hugo Woman*, both a little more on the budget side but still really nice.

Chocolate, I really don't need to say much more as it will ALWAYS go down well. Lindt* have some amazing offerings this year and I can tell you that they taste equally as good. The packaging is a dream and there's something about Lindt that feels as though it's a special occasion only kind of chocolate if you know what I mean. Plus, the Lindor Strawberries and Cream Truffles pictured are an absolute DREAM. Totes want to eat some more right now but I'm 'attempting' to be uber healthy. Let's see how long that lasts with these babies stashed in my drawer...

Other sites I'd recommend looking for gifts are Not On The Highstreet and StreetHub. But maybe that's not really for us last minute shoppers. Pop to the shop and pick up a bunch of flowers, some lindt choccies and a fragrance and trust me, you can't go wrong.

Eating in London: Ping Pong Dim Sum

Hidden underneath all of the beauty lovin', I'm a massive foodie. There's nothing I love more than heading out for a nice meal out and actually, I'd usually choose that over doing pretty much anything. I've been feeling a little meh with my blog lately and thought it was about time I changed it up a bit. I have always planned to post a little bit about everything on Studs and Dreams but I always get stuck into the routine of just posting beauty. But now I've handed my dissertation in, I want to actually finally revamp my content a little bit and say hello to some new series, like this food and restaurant one, but don't worry, beauty isn't going anyway. It will still be the main feature, but I know some of you out there will be a food lover also, and so hopefully you'll love these posts just as much.

Oooh yeah, it's probably worth noting that I don't eat meat. I do it fish though, so I guess you could call me a pescetarian. I'll be looking at restaurants, namely in London from a vegetarian or fish-eater's perspective.

Ping Pong* is a contemporary Dim Sum restaurant serving cocktails and all the bite sized dim sum you could ask for. I am a massive lover of trying new cuisines and although I had been to a Ping Pong a long time ago, I couldn't really remember it so it was almost as though I was trying it afresh again! We headed down to the Soho branch and I fell in love with the interior all over again. I remembered coming here for a lunch a long long time ago, but there was something a whole lot different about coming in the evening. The restaurant was packed and people were queuing at the door to get their dim sum fix. This gave me super high expectations, but don't worry, I'll give you a spoiler - they lived up to them!

They have an amazing range of cocktails and I was blown away by the choice for a restaurant. Spoilt for choice, we opted for the Flaming Passionfruit Martini and the Spiced Elderflower Saketini - both very different cocktails! The Flaming Passionfruit is more on the sweet side and something for those that don't like their alcohol to taste too alcohol like, on the other hand, the Spiced Elderflower Saketini is the complete opposite, tasting a whole lot like it with more of a bitter taste. The Saketini wasn't to my taste as I'm not usually a fan of your drink tasking like a shot, but we got through it and the Flaming Passionfruit more than made up for it - it was heavenly and super exciting as it came on fire like the name suggests!

On to food, and of course why you're reading this. Starting with my beloved Edamame, i'm obsessed with this stuff. Please tell me you can buy it in bulk somewhere? We also got some of the Black Sesame Seed Prawn Crackers with a Spicy Mango Sauce or 'posh prawn crackers' as we liked to call them. Both amazing to start with and totes wet our appetite for all food that was to come.

I'm going to firstly mention the soups, mainly because I just can't wait to talk about them. We ordered the vegetable wonton and noodle soup (pictured, top) and the thai style vegetable wonton soup. Both lovely, but I was totally blown away by the thai style one. I'm thai food lover anyway so anything with a bit of coconut milk and lemongrass I'll usually love but there was just something about this vegetable soup that got me hook line and sinker. I can't even put into words how beautiful it was. Put it this way, I've been thinking about it ever since... and am totally salivating at the thought. If someone has a time machine, please let me have a go so I can go back and eat that soup all over again? Pretty please...

From the Fried and Griddled section we got the Crispy Prawn Ball with Fish Sauce. This was beautiful. King prawns covered in crispy shredded pastry, sounds like heaven right? It was and completely worth the mess of the bits of pastry flicking off everywhere as you ate it. It's a 'dive right in' kind of dish. The Spinach and Mushroom Dumplings (pictured, second) are also served with the spicy mango sauce that I totally fell in love with. Again, I'd totally recommend these, a definite favourite. Although we didn't order them, I remember having the potato and edamame cake before, really lovely and the prawn toast, portobello mushroom's only just missed the order, next time!

From the baked section we tried the Four Mushroom Puff (pictured above, 1st). I'm talking beautiful flaky puff pastry with a sweet and sticky glaze that just worked beautifully with the savoury filling of the mushrooms, carrot, mange tout and cashew nuts.

On to the steamed dim sum, and we tried the prawn and chive dumplings (pictured, the green dumplings above) - these weren't to my taste but the black prawn dumplings (pictured directly above) and the chaozhau vegetable and peanut dumplings made up for it. Again, I just can't tell you how beautiful the black prawn dumplings were. I could eat tonnes of these (alongside the thai soup) and I'd be happy. If you're a garlic lover too then these will be right up your street, but if not, then I'd probably steer clear. The chaozhau vegetable and peanut dumplings were good too and the peanut made them even better adding a little crunch to the squidgy dumplings.

The flavours were insane and it was so much better than I had remembered. We were so full after all of this food, but we just had to try the deserts out didn't we? Of course for the sake of this review only, we didn't really want them (biggest lie I've ever told). As I mentioned before I'm a total coconut milk fiend and as soon as I saw the Mango Pudding was made with coconut milk I was sold, and as you can tell from my love of the spicy mango sauce, I'm quite the mango fan also. We also ordered the Baked Ginger Cake served with Vanilla Ice Cream (pictured above), if you love ginger, cinnamon and sultanas then this ones for you. A gorgeous spiced cake served with cooling and creamy ice cream to calm it down. Both deserts were really light and didn't leave me feeling as though my stomach was going to explode. In fact, the whole meal didn't. I was super full and so satisfied but I wasn't left feeling bloated and as though I'd over eaten - bonus!

As you can probably tell I was SO impressed with Ping Pong. A new favourite of mine, I'd go back in a heartbeat even if it was just for the Thai Style Vegetable Wonton Soup (please do bigger bowls of this Ping Pong, one just wasn't enough...) and the Black Prawn Dumplings. I'm talking heaven on a plate here people. Trust me, it's worth every penny. Plus the atmosphere of the evening made it that bit better and that bit more exciting. I'd definitely recommend going on evening, the atmosphere makes it. Next time I'll definetely try some new bits, as we weren't really sure whether we'd like the Black Prawn Dumplings, but they were favourites! The Monkfish and Lime Dumplings and Long Stem Broccoli  is on my list. Oh and the flowering teas. These sound amazing too. Can I just list the whole menu?

Totes recommend Ping Pong. Have you been before?

Lorna x

*The meal was kindly provided by Ping Pong, but as always my opinions are my own and the soup really was that delicious!

NARS Spring 2015 Nude Colour Collection

Eeeeeeeeek. lsfjakugjyfrdffjalksjaksfjlkajflkasjlksf.

Sorry, just had to get my excitement out. THIS COLLECTION IS SO EXCITING. I literally feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have my hands on it. Yep, that's right we're talking the NARS Spring 2015 Colour Collection and all things nude and neutral. Natural makeup lovers this is definitely something for you, but even if you're into more of a bolder look then trust me, you'll love it too. I mean, you always need a nude eye shadow or subtle blusher to go alongside that bright lip, right?

Featuring 7 products, the new NARS collection features a little bit of everything. Starting with the eyes we've got the Eye Paint in Porto Venere*, a very pale pink. Beautiful shade but I found it a little too light on my uber pale skin tone to the point where it sort of just blended in, although saying this I love using it as a base to apply more shadow on top of. Great for evening out the skin tone or as a base for a more intense eye, plus it makes it last that bit longer too! Also for the eyes the collection features the Single Eyeshadow in Valhalla*, the most beautiful shimmery peachy pink. I love using this for a subtle eye look, sometimes over the Eye Paint, or I'll use it as an inner corner highlight to brighten up the rest of my shadow. The other eye offering from the collection is a gorgeous Duo Eyeshadow in St-Paul-De-Vence* featuring shades Shimmering Nectarine and Chestnut. These are the stars in the collection for me. There's just something about this mini palette that satisfies me so much. It's portable, and it's the kind of shades that have had me hook line and sinker at the minute...(More posts on this coming soon!). This was how I added a little more of a dimension to my look when wearing the collection as this duo allows you to smoke up your eyes without it being too much. Perfect orange toned nudes for the day time, or you could add a smokier shade in the crease for the evening. GORGE.

My first ever NARS blush is the one from this collection and it's the Blush in Reckless*, a sheer pink shimmer. I wouldn't really say I'd use this as a blush, perhaps on those days where I don't fancy it (which used to be all the time) but now I'd apply it over another more pigmented blush for a highlight and another dimension to the look. I noticed some of the shimmer is slightly blue toned which is SO pretty and so different from anything else I own. I'm welcoming this product with open arms into my collection...

On to lips, and it's quite rare that I'd opt for a nude lip. I'm a bold, purple or red lip kinda girl, but I've been really getting into my eyeshadow lately so there's just many times when you've maybe smoked it up a little too much to pair with a bold lip and that's where the nude lips come in. The collection features the Lipstick in Liguria*, a nude caramel shade. Usually I'd steer clear of anything like this, I just automatically assume it'll look horrible but I was so surprised, it actually looked quite nice and paired with an uber smokey eye, HEAVEN.

Onto the lip glosses and we've got the lipgloss in Guyane, a seashell pink and the lipgloss in Vent Sale a silver highlight. Again shades I wouldn't usually pick up. I'm always drawn to the purples and the reds like I've mentioned before, but this collection has opened up my eyes to all the nude possibilities in the world. Applied over the top of other lipsticks, these lip glosses are a dream.

I know... A photo of me, on my blog. Who'd have thought it? There's always something I just dread about taking photos of myself, but I just couldn't not show you this one. I ripped open the package, squealed, squealed again, and again... and then took some pictures and applied it straight to my face. I just had to break the 'not taking photos' of myself rule for this collection, didn't I?

To create this look, I applied my base, subtle contour and brows as usual and the applied the Porto Venere Eye Paint all over my lids, I then swept the Valhalla Single Eye Shadow across my lids and then applied the Nectarine shade from the St-Paul-De-Vence Duo Eyeshadow across the middles of my lids and then the Chestnut shade around the outer corner, making sure to blend it all together. I then added a little more of the Valhalla Single Eyeshadow to the inner corners of my eyes and across the lid. I then added my usual Bourjois liner and mascara. I've also got the Reckless blush on my cheeks and the Liguria Lipstick blended across my lips with a little of the Guyana Lipgloss blotted on top. I didn't want the lips to be too 'nude' so made sure to blot these A LOT with a tissue.

It's a total dream right? And don't worry. You don't have to wait to get your hands on them, all of the products are linked above and are available to purchase right now. I'd totes be getting my hands on them if I didn't have them in my collection already.

What's your favourite product from the collection?

Introducing: StreetHub

Okay, okay... I know the picture at the top of this post might not tickle everyone's fancy, but trust me, there's more to it than just a bit of Scrabble (but Scrabble addicts out there, I hear you too!). We're talking about StreetHub, a website that allows you to browse across a range of boutique shops nearby all in one place and you can either click and collect or get it delivered direct to you. Like I said before, it's not a place for Scrabble boards anonymous, it's just a place where you can pick up boutique bits and pieces that you wouldn't necessarily be able to find elsewhere.

This post is a little delayed, so sorry about that. I actually used the site to pick up this Scrabble Nostalgia Edition Board* for my Mum for Christmas, but life got in the way so today's the day I'm telling you about it but trust me, it's well worth the wait.

Ever got one of those people that are just impossible to buy for? They have everything already? Yep, I know plenty of those and this site had me covered. I'm forever picking up beauty products for my Mum, but I know really, she doesn't quite love it quite like I do and uses it more to 'use it up'. I mean she's got quite the collection as I'm always passing on every anti-ageing this and that on to her as I don't need it quite yet. But I was having a browse of the site and I saw this Scrabble board and it was just perfect. Every year at Christmas my Nan comes to stay and we always play Scrabble. We don't have our own board so she brings round the one that they've used for years, since my Mum was a child in fact and I love the nostalgia in that, but what about getting our own 'nostalgia' board as I suppose, that one isn't going to last forever. With it's fancy wooden box and wooden tiles I just couldn't resist and this Christmas we gave the old board a rest and started on with this new one...

Like I said, I'm not writing this post for the Scrabble board (as much as I do love it), I'm writing for it for the site. Perhaps you want an uber luxe jumper that you're unlikely to see on someone else, or maybe you too have an un-buyable person to buy for. Trust me, you'll find something, I found plenty a thing I wanted but thought I'd do the decent thing and pick something up for someone else, you know? Have a browse of the site and I bet you'll find a few things you didn't know you wanted either... I'm enabling you right here, go on.

It's that time of year where I can't justify being too spendy on high end beauty (although, I did defy that and pick up something a little special... Watch this space!). I picked a few of my drugstore / high street beauty favourites and trust me, they're all as good as their high end competitors.

What are your high street or drugstore beauty favourites?
