OOTD: Red Vintage Shirt

Shirt - Vintage, T-shirt, Leggings, Necklace & Boots - All Topshop

I've been wanting to getting into photographing OOTD's again for a while now but just haven't really found the time to do it. I had planned to get my lovely friend Holly on my photography course to take pictures of me every day before Uni, but considering we weren't in that often and when we were I was rushing to get to class on time - trust me, I need my sleep! but it just wasn't feasible. I guess I just needed the kick up the backside and after you said that you wanted to see more OOTD's from me in my last post, well how could I turn you down!

Here's my first OOTD of what will hopefully be plenty more to come. I spent the day at my internship, I think I'm going to write a post about that to let you all know what I'm up to but will look into doing that later. I went for something quite casual, comfy but still hopefully looking good! I'm in love with these trousers from Topshop at the moment. I'm not quite sure what to call them - leggings? disco pants? trousers? To me they're like a matte version of the disco pants with a much thicker material. I love the fit of the disco pant, but unfortunately the ones I have from Topshop are just feeling a little bit loose and not having the desired effect. Oh what I'd do for a pair of those beautiful American Apparel babies! These trousers from Topshop suck you in in all the right places and stay tight - trust me, I've worn them a lot since I first got them! I decided to pair it with a white tee and my favourite red velvet shirt. I think I picked this up in Camden in one of the vintage stores there, possibly Rokit? I'm not too sure. The sleeves are a little ripped (it was like it when I bought it and the discount just made me even more eager to buy it - red & velvet - perfect!) I have been meaning to sew it up... one day! but with the sleeves rolled up, you can't tell.

Sorry the quality of the image isn't too great. I've currently got my camera set up for a photography project and I can't move it until I'm done so I got my lovely boyfriend Callum to take some shots of me on his DSLR, unfortunately he uses his camera for filming more than actual pictures and so the pictures didn't turn out quite as hoped. Hopefully it'll be a little easier once I've got my camera, although I'll still get him to do it. Thank you Callum!

How do you feel about me posting more OOTD's? What have you been up to?

  7. Gorgeous shirt. I'm after some jeans like those too, are they the Topshop Joni jeans? I'm just worried about getting a pair that fade/go loose after a little while x
