Dry Shampoo Without The Mess

When someone mentions dry shampoo my mind automatically goes to Batiste almost as though they invented it or something. It's the brand in the forefront of my mind when it comes to this hair product and I can imagine it'll be the brand your mind thinks of also. Don't get me wrong, I love the brand and their dry shampoos but there's just something a little bit budget that comes to mind and that's not what I'm always going for.

Sometimes I'll use dry shampoo to help myself steer away from those days I may not have washed my hair but other times I just love adding a little texture in and that's often when the dry shampoo comes to play alongside some other hair care goodies.

I'm used to the usual spray format of the Batiste Dry shampoo with the usual aerosol spray nozzle that when I saw the Swell Ultimate Volume Dry Shampoo* I was more intrigued than I ever have been when it comes to dry shampoo.  This product is dispensed using a pump and so pumps a fine mist into the hair. It's so light and easy to work into the hair, it doesn't leave any of those dreaded white marks that we're all used to with the Batiste one's. This one doesn't do that and it leaves volume without feeling too heavy. Just be careful you don't use too much because then you will have the issue of weighed down hair as you would with any product. The bottle is so light and portable as well so it's perfect for traveling and to keep your hair looking great on-the-go. And is it just me or is the pink label on the packaging super cute too? It makes me love it that bit better.

Have you tried anything from Swell before?

  1. I've never heard of this brand but the packaging alone was enough to catch my attention! I'm seriously intrigued by the pump format, it sounds like a really interesting concept so I'll keep an eye out for it x
